Members of Sons of Rick met at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario. They united as a band when a friend requested live music for their birthday evening. After putting on a fun and energetic show, it was evident that they had something great.

But the band's origin goes back to when the band members grew up listening to various musical genres that played an influential role in shaping their paths as musicians, and ultimately led them to form Sons of Rick.

Still in its beginning phase, Sons of Rick are working on creating original music and content. Members love to experiment and try new things, and are always looking to push their musical skills forward to produce better music and content. They love to switch around on instruments to challenge themselves and to keep things interesting.
