Inspired by a childhood memory of a family dog whose barking at other dogs on the TV could only be quelled with the terse phrase “it’s okay Dave... TV Dog,” the name of the band was settled. TV Dog is composed of four members: Brock Reid (Vocals, Guitar), Connor MacArthur (Drums, Vocals), Nate Maaskant (Guitar), and Malcom Kersel (Bass). Having released two LPs, one EP, and various singles, the band has been performing in and around Toronto the past three years with notable appearances at Lee’s Palace and the Horseshoe Tavern. This will be TV Dog’s second visit to Kingston and they are beyond excited to bring their funky punk-driven sound back to the Toucan!
