A band born out of a pandemic. When COVID-19 hit in March of 2020, Kingston songwriter/ guitarist Tom Savage turned to music as a way of interacting with his son Benji, who has been playing bass for the past two years. It was a fun way to keep them busy, while father and son were unable to go to work or attend school respectively, due to lockdown. Weekly rehearsals brought about the creation of new music that has delved into Blues, Jazz and Funk territory. Gigs were soon to follow, along with the addition of seasoned drummer Bonz Bowering, and now there seems to be no stopping the Savage Family Band!
